Sentosa has made a name for itself as Singapore’s premier island resort getaway.

But it faced a challenge: The brand doesn’t appeal to average citizens, most of whom perceive Sentosa as an expensive, tourist-centric destination.

Through TikTok, we set out to change this perception and ride on the platform’s power of authenticity to connect with Singaporeans like never before.

As the creative lead for the account, I worked closely with a rotating team of creatives to create authentic content that rides on trends and connects with the average citizen.

In just a year, we completely transformed Sentosa’s voice, and built a stronger, more authentic brand presence on TikTok.
